Cake Batter Chocolate Chip Cookies



This recipe makes about 3 dozen! Lots of cookies !

Ingredients:
1 and 1/4 cup all purpose flour
1 and 1/4 cup yellow or white boxed cake
1/2 tsp baking soda
3/4 cup (1.5 sticks) unsalted butter, softened to room temp.
1 egg
1 egg yolk
2 tsp vanilla
1/2 cup sugar 
1/2 cup light brown sugar
1 and 1/4 cup chocolate chips (or blend with white chocolate chips)
1/2 cup sprinkles

Preparation:
1. In large bowl, sift together flour, cake mix, and baking soda. Set aside
2. In separate bowl, cream together the butter and sugars on the medium speed. Mix in the egg, egg yolk, and vanilla until creamy!
3. Add the flour to the wet ingredients and mix until just combined. Do not over mix the dough. Fold in the chocolate chips and sprinkles.
4. Refrigerate dough for at least 1 hour. The dough will be sticky.
5. Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Scoop dough into round tablespoons onto ungreased cookie sheet. 
6. Bake for 11-14 minutes.
7. Let cool and enjoy.
