Gal-entine's Day

Happy Saturday! Usually I don't blog on the weekends so that I can catch up with Matt, but unfortunately he is flying today. Don't get me wrong it is in fact fortunate he gets to fly but not so fun that he is scheduled on a Saturday after having night flights all week. But hey, that's the life we chose and I wouldn't change it for the world. Anyway yesterday was a fantastic day. My good friends Elizabeth and Candace invited Lucy and I to a "Gal-entine's Day" lunch and we had such a great time catching up. With our husbands always so busy flying we decided to make the most of the day and enjoy girl time.

I then came home to my husband busy in the kitchen creating this masterpiece. He made lobster, steak, scallops and roasted veggies! Not to mention our little angel child took a nice long nap during dinner. (You'll notice the monitor in the photo) This Valentine's Day was definitely one to remember and I have my friends and Matt to thank for that. Oh and we got a sweet V-day gift in the mail.. the Ergo baby carrier, Lucy just adores it.

This little girl is such a ham and I just love it!
