Lemon Cream Cheese Danish

Matt specifically requested this recipe, and it was incredibly easy and pretty delicious!

Pam cooking spray 
Refrigerated Crescent rolls (two cans)
2 lemons zested and juiced 
2 8-ounce packages cream cheese 
1/2 cup white sugar 
2 tablespoons butter
3 tablespoons white sugar 

1. Pre-heat oven to 350 degrees and spray a 9x13 inch pan. 
2. Press one can crescent roll on bottom of dish stretching edges to reach.
3. Mix zest of lemons and lemon juice in a bowl. Beat cream cheese and 1/2 cup of sugar in mixer until smooth and creamy.
4. Spread cheese mixture on crescent rolls layer
5. Unroll second crescent roll layer stretching dough to edges. Brush melted butter and 3 tablespoons sugar over top crescent layer. 
6. Bake in preheated oven for 25 minute or until golden brown. Allow to cool 30 minutes then put in fridge for at least an hour. Cut and serve.
